School Bus Driver – Ottawa West

Voyago is hiring School Bus Drivers for our Ottawa locations. (Stittsville, Dunrobin, Kanata, Barrhaven, Nepean and west end of Ottawa) #OTS

Your role:

• You are responsible for safely transporting what we call “the most precious cargo” to and from school
• Ensure students’ safety while boarding and exiting buses.
• Be responsible for performing pre/post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure optimal vehicle safety.
• Help fuel and maintain the cleanliness of the bus.

Your profile

• You are safety focused
• You hold a valid minimum full Ontario G class drivers license, Preference will be given to B class drivers.
• You are 21 years of age or over.
• You possess clean driving record and criminal record search with vulnerable sector screening
• You have a sound knowledge of the Ottawa West region and surrounding areas
• You have the ability to work independently
• You are available for the required split shifts of 4-5 hours total, that could run: Monday – Friday between 6:30am – 9:30am and 2pm – 5pm.
• You possess solid communication skills.

Your location

By joining the *Voyago Student Transportation team in Ottawa West, you’ll find

• We offer a competitive hourly pay of $21.00 when driving passengers and $17.20 for other work.
• You will be compensated for a 4 hour minimum daily split if you take the morning and afternoon for a full route.
• Opportunities are available with charters for extra hours
• The FT full comprehensive benefit package is available if you work 30+ hours or more per week
