Registered Early Childhood Educator
Zida Academy is looking for a full-time Registered Early Childhood Educator to join our team. At Zida Academy, you will have the opportunity to actively participate in the overall development of children ages 18 months to 6 years. Qualifications required for this position:
- Membership in good standing at the College of Early Childhood Educators
- Clear Vulnerable Sector check completed within 6 months from the start date
- Current Standard First Aid and CPR Certification Level C
- Updated immunization record
- Sense of responsibility, planning and organization
- Ability to work closely with other team members
- Be enthusiastic, committed and respectful to children, their families and co-workers

- Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security and well-being of children.
- Implement an approach that promotes child-led learning and outdoor play.
- Develop and implement a stimulating and adapted program that supports the physical, cognitive, language and emotional and social development of children.
- Meet the unique needs and provide consistent supervision of the children.
- Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and families.
- Assess the abilities, interests and needs of children.
