Loss Prevention Services – Interviews

Loss Prevention Services Limited (LPS) is the premier provider of security personnel assisting a wide client base.

LPS is currently seeking PART TIME and FULL TIME applicants in Ottawa, Ontario. Successful applicants will demonstrate strong knowledge of the Criminal Code of Canada, Citizens Powers of Arrest, and Trespass to Property Act and have a security orientated education

Specific Expectations – Working in retail environment to deter anti social behavior

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide security to people and property
• Follow proper procedures and protocols
• Write extensive incident reports while utilizing knowledge in Trespass to Property Act and Citizens Powers of Arrest
• Represent Loss Prevention Services in a professional manner at all times

Minimum Requirements:

• Valid Ontario Security Guard License
• High school Diploma (preference will be given to Police Foundations/Law & Security graduates)
• Cell phone with a data plan
• Ability to work on weekends
• Physically fit to walk for extended periods of time
• High degree of honest & integrity
• Reliable vehicle is an asset

Compensation:

• Entry level position: $17.00-$20.00 per hour based on experience and education
• Paid training
• Medical benefits for full time employees
